Besides it's spectacular unspoiled beauty, Kauai also
offers an abundance of activities, from kayaking, jungle hiking, horseback riding,
to snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sailing, turtle and whale watching, world class golf
courses, tennis complexes, secluded beaches, and of course some of the best surfing in the
world.
All this on a tiny island in the pacific. If you're looking for
nightclubs, or huge shopping malls, Kauai is not for you. But if you're looking for an
adventure vacation where you can retreat & rejuvenate your spirit, Kauai is
the perfect spot.

- GOLF – you are only a few blocks from the golf course, it offers one
of the most beautiful sunsets you’ve ever seen
- GREAT STEAK - Kalaheo Steak House. Minutes away
- LAWAI KAI – National Botanical Gardens
- VIDEO RENTAL – Kalaheo, on Papalina
- KARAOKE – TOI’S, in the Eleele Shopping Center
- THEATERS - In Lihue at Kukui Grove, and in Wailua
- BRICK OVEN PIZZA – right here in Kalaheo
- BEACHES, BEACHES, BEACHES, - Kauai has beautiful beaches. Five
minutes. to
Hanapepe. It’s interesting as you can also see the ancient salt ponds right beside
the beach. Also great sunsets. Lumahai, on the way to Hanalei is also a favorite.
Polihale, all the way to the west side is magnificent. The best snorkeling beaches
are at Poipu, next to the beach house, and also, Haena, past Hanalei, at the end of the
road.

- Dukes – In the Marriott hotel, in Lihue, right on Kalapaki Bay.
- Hamura’s Saimin Stand
– a real legend, gotta go there, very
original, very reasonable, & very local. In Lihue.
- Mema’s Tai Food - good lemon grass soup, great vegi entrees.
- Fish Express – very fresh seafood, our favorite is smoked marlin.
- Mexican Food – La Bamba’s, in Lihue, great for lunch.
- Keoki’s – Poipu, in the Kiahuna Shopping Village, great
waterfalls in the dining area.
- Roys – Fine dining, great service, great food, Continental &
Pacific Rim, bring lots of $$$.
- Japanese –
Kintaros Palace, in Waipoli, they do the cooking
right in front of you.
